As the backbone of the ST and Platinum Powertrains the available 3.0L EcoBoost take the athletic feel of the Explorer a step further by using turbocharging and injection. The Platinum powertrain generate 365 hp 380 lb.-ft. torque. The ST combines this muscular engine with Ford Performance engine tuning for a powertrain like nothing else on the road. With 400 hp 415 lb.ft. of torque and top speed of 143 mph the 2021 ST really brings the power.
